OWENSBORO, Ky. - United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 19 Cedarville netted the first two goals and then kept Kentucky Wesleyan at bay for a 2-1 G-MAC result.
Brett Vaughn got the scoring underway in the 15th minute with
Gui Fernandes assisting.
Nick Marculo made it 2-0 in the 33rd on his second of the spring with an assist by
Eli Schmidt.
The Panthers got one back just six minutes into the second half, but CU's defense held firm the rest of the way.
Jared Zacharias came up with five saves for the Yellow Jackets, 4-1 overall and 4-1 G-MAC.
The visitors enjoyed shot advantages of 25-12 overall and 11-6 on goal.

- Cedarville outshot the hosts 16-6 in the first half.
