WILMORE, Ky. - United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 19 Cedarville netted five goals in the first half and overwhelmed Asbury, 7-2, in a non-conference road contest.
Mauricio Ochoa Vazquez got the scoring jamboree started in the fifth minute with his first of the season for the Yellow Jackets, 3-0.
Cedarville then scored four more times in a span of 16 minutes to blow it open.
Pedro Alvares,
Jonny Stephens,
Eli Schmidt, and
Mark Rowan all tallied to make it 5-0 by the intermission.
The two teams tallied twice apiece in the final 45 minutes with CU goals coming from
Matthew Weller and
Jake Johnson.
