ASHLAND, Ohio - Ashland dropped the first set and then controlled the last three to beat Cedarville in a G-MAC volleyball contest at Kates Gymnasium.
The winning numbers for the Eagles were 24-26, 25-15, 25-15, 25-17.
The Lady Jackets scored the final five points to steal the first set, but it was all Ashland the rest of the way.
Liene Miller buried 17 kills to lead three players in double figures for Cedarville, 2-6 overall and 1-3 G-MAC.
Abby Kuyper totaled 12 kills and
Lauren Willow contributed ten kills with three blocks.
Maddie Lloyd handed out 43 assists and
Emily Ward came up with 13 digs.
Stinger Notes:
- Kailee McLaughlin turned aside a season-high four blocks.
- Riley Hensley added eight kills and three blocks.
- Ashland leads the all-time series, 8-2.
- The Eagles visit the Callan Athletic Center on Nov. 5.
