HIGHLIGHTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets went ice cold in the second half and Findlay took advantage for a 68-58 G-MAC win at the Callan Athletic Center.
Emily Chapman and
Paige Garr provided 11 points each for Cedarville, 12-7 overall and 7-6 G-MAC.
Karli Anker tallied a career-high ten points while
Taylor Strock chipped in ten points with six rebounds.
The hosts showed some spark in the second quarter. Anker's three-pointer beat the halftime buzzer for a 33-31 lead.
The Jackets scored the first five points of the third quarter and then the offense cooled off.
Findlay outscored CU 37-20 the rest of the way and enjoyed a commanding 51-23 margin on the boards.
Stinger Notes:
- The Jackets made 12 triples, but shot just 29 percent on 42 attempts.
- Cedarville committed only five turnovers and forced 13.
- Allison Mader handed out a team-high three assists.
- The visiting team claimed the two regular season games between the rivals.
- CU was a 77-63 winner on the Oilers' home court on December 9.
- Findlay leads the all-time series, 29-12.
