CEDARVILLE, Ohio - G-MAC North Division leader Findlay put a damper on Homecoming Weekend by outplaying the Lady Jackets in four sets at the Callan Athletic Center.
The Oilers, 12-7 overall and 9-0 G-MAC, won their ninth straight decision, 25-20, 23-25, 28-26, 25-23.
Cassi Shields put down 13 kills with 11 more from
Riley Hensley.
Cam Davenport totaled nine kills, 15 digs, and three blocks for Cedarville, 8-9 overall and 6-4 G-MAC.
Kaley Matney set up 43 assists and
Payton Krahn contributed 17 digs.
Stinger Notes:
- Hannah Willow turned aside a team-high five blocks.
- The team's 20 block assists was a season high.
- Libero Mallory Delamarter had 14 digs.
- There were 36 tie scores and 17 lead changes.
- CU led 25-24 serving match point in set four.
- Attendance for the two Homecoming matches combined was 1,398.
- Findlay leads the all-time series, 27-20.
