NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca tallied in the 88th minute forcing the Yellow Jackets to come away with a 1-1 tie at the Trojan Soccer Complex.
The outcome leaves the post-season possibilities in limbo for Cedarville, 8-7-2 overall and 6-6-1 G-MAC.
The final game of the regular season is Tuesday at Ohio Dominican.
Trey McBride's goal in the 34th minute came on an assist from
Alex Long.
The 1-0 margin stood until the Trojans came through to level the match.
Jared Zacharias stopped two shots in goal for the visitors.
Stinger Notes:
- CU had more shots overall (11-7) and on goal (7-3)
- Six teams qualify for the G-MAC Tournament and the Jackets are presently in seventh place.
- A victory is necessary at ODU in order to have a chance at post-season play.
- The Yellow Jackets are 14-2-4 all-time against Trevecca.
- Cedarville blanked TNU, 1-0, at home on September 15.
