COLUMBUS, Ohio -
Mary Kate Wyer's early goal held up as the United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 18 Lady Jackets ended the regular season with a 1-0 win at Ohio Dominican.
Cedarville, 15-2-1 overall and 13-1 G-MAC, has won 12 in a row entering the G-MAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed and regular season champion.
Wyer hit the back of the net in the sixth minute for her seventh tally of the campaign.
The visitors dominated the shot totals - 17-3 overall and 8-1 on goal.
Goalkeeper
Brooke Ackley earned her third consecutive shutout making one save.
Stinger Notes:
- The defense has allowed one goal in the last five games.
- Cedarville has shutout four of the last five opponents and has seven on the season.
- Wyer is the 11th player in program history to net 20 career goals.
- The Jackets' corner kick margin was 9-2 and is a whopping 120-35 for the year.
