CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Top seed and 13th-ranked Cedarville exploded for five goals in the second half to put away No. 4 Findlay, 6-1, in the G-MAC Women's Soccer Semifinals.
The Lady Jackets, 16-2-1, will put their 13-game winning streak up against defending champion and No. 2 Ashland in Saturday's final at 4:30 p.m. EDT.
The home side broke through with the game's only first half goal in the 28th minute when
Megan McClish scored from
Audrey Nelson.
Aleah Martone converted a penalty kick in the 56th minute and Nelson added some breathing room two minutes later for a 3-0 margin.
After the Oilers got on the board midway through the second period,
Payton Fraley,
Taylor Meadows, and
Maddy Nelson pumped in goals to account for the final.

- Maddie McConnell assisted on Fraley's header.
- Shots favored CU, 26-12 overall and 11-7 on goal.
- Two-time G-MAC Goalkeeper of the Year Brooke Ackley made six saves.
- The Oilers' goal ended a string of 355 consecutive scoreless minutes by the defense.
- The Jackets defeated Findlay twice this fall, but the visitors still lead the series, 5-4-1.
- Ashland eliminated No. 6 Walsh, 2-0, in the first semifinal of the day.
