Cedarville season ends in G-MAC Quarterfinal

CHAMPIONSHIP INFO

ASHLAND, Ohio - No. 5 seed Trevecca eliminated the No. 4 Lady Jackets from the G-MAC Tournament with a quarterfinal sweep at Kates Gymnasium.

The Trojans rolled to a 26-24, 25-21, 25-14 victory. Cedarville ends the campaign at 13-15.

Riley Hensley produced seven kills and six blocks while Cassi Shields added seven kills.

Haley Koch rejected seven blocks and Kaley Matney had 30 assists.

Mallory Delamarter topped the back line with ten digs.

Stinger Notes:
  • The Lady Jackets totaled 20 block assists.
  • It was the last collegiate match for Hensley, Mallory Delamarter, Payton Krahn, and Hannah Willow.
  • Cedarville had beaten TNU five days earlier in the regular season finale.
  • Two other higher seeds, No. 1 Ashland and No. 3 Findlay, also dropped opening round matches.
  • The Trojans won two-of-three meetings this season, but the Jackets hold a 17-8 lead in the all-time series.
