PEPPER PIKE, Ohio - Cedarville avenged an earlier loss to Ursuline with a dominating performance resulting in a 82-62 G-MAC victory over the host Arrows.
Paige Garr drilled five three-point field goals and finished with a game-high 19 points for the Lady Jackets, 15-9 overall and 10-8 G-MAC.
Emily Chapman registered 18 points, eight rebounds, and five assists while
Abby Freeman came off the bench with a career-high 17 points.
CU scored the first six points of the game, raced out to a 13-2 lead, and was never threatened.
It was a 47-25 bulge by halftime thanks to 58 percent shooting from the field including a 9-for-14 showing from deep and 10-of-12 accuracy at the line.
Stinger Notes:
- Taylor Strock matched Chapman with a team-high eight rebounds.
- The Jackets had a 21-4 margin in points scored off of turnovers.
- The team has made at least 12 three-point baskets six times this winter.
- Ursuline won at the Callan Athletic Center, 64-56, on January 6.
- Cedarville leads the all-time series, 26-5.
