PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Lake Erie withstood a furious Cedarville rally in the final minutes to beat the Yellow Jackets for the second time in less than 48 hours, 84-81.
The Storm were 86-83 winners at the Callan Athletic Center on Monday.
CU trailed 81-70 with 2:40 remaining before charging back.
The visitors made it interesting with an 11-2 run and missed a three-pointer at the buzzer that would have sent the contest to overtime.
Quinton Green scored all 21 of his points in the second half for the Yellow Jackets, 13-10 overall and 9-7 G-MAC.
Conner TenHove finished with 17 points and
Isaiah Speelman had 11.

- The Jackets shot 64.5 percent in the second half and 56.7 for the game.
- CU has had five consecutive games of hitting at least half of its field goal attempts.
- Cedarville made just 5-of-10 at the stripe despite leading the league in free throw accuracy.
- The Storm's 12 three-point field goals are the most by a G-MAC opponent this season.
- Eight conference games have been decided by four points or less.
