WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Palm Beach Atlantic broke open a close game with a nine-run inning and finished off the Yellow Jackets, 16-6, at Rubin Park.
The Sailfish held a 2-1 lead before sending 13 batters to the plate in the third to take command.
Cedarville, 5-5 overall, scratched back to within 11-6, but PBA put the result out of reach by scoring five more times in the seventh.
Austin Brown had two hits including a double, a stolen base, and a run scored.
Bryce Hughes had a pair of hits with two RBI.
Daniel Sewak added two hits and scored twice.
Lucas Rotello drove in two runs and
Payton Eeles scored twice.
The two teams close out the four-game series with a doubleheader on Saturday.
