CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville's struggle on the home field continued with a pair of G-MAC losses to Trevecca.
The Trojans shut down the home team 4-0 and 6-3 in eight innings.
The Lady Jackets mustered just a pair of singles by
Lexi Parsons and
Arica Flaugher in the opener.
In the second game, TNU broke a 1-1 tie by scoring five runs with two outs in the eighth inning.
Flaugher stroked a two-run single in the bottom half of the frame.
Casey Bertke had given CU a 1-0 lead in the first inning with an RBI single.
Stinger Notes:
- McKenna Smith pitched 7 2/3 innings in the second game throwing 131 pitches.
- Mariah Wallace's double was one of seven hits in the nightcap.
- Cedarville is 2-10 at home this season.
- Trevecca leads the all-time series between the two schools, 27-7
- Smith, Sami Buettell, and Carrie Jespersen will be honored during Senior Day on Saturday.
