Lady Jackets take 1-1 draw at No. 7 Lee

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Cedarville surrendered an early goal, but battled back for a 1-1 draw at nationally-ranked Lee.

The United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 7 Flames scored in the fourth minute.

The Lady Jackets leveled the match in the 29th with an own goal. A shot by Megan McClish was deflected by the Lee goalkeeper off a defender and into the net.

The hosts outshot CU 17-8 overall and 7-5 on goal. Brooke Ackley was credited with six saves for the Jackets.

Both sides finished the weekend at 1-0-1 on the young season.
