CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Cedarville surrendered an early goal, but battled back for a 1-1 draw at nationally-ranked Lee.
The United Soccer Coaches Division II No. 7 Flames scored in the fourth minute.
The Lady Jackets leveled the match in the 29th with an own goal. A shot by
Megan McClish was deflected by the Lee goalkeeper off a defender and into the net.
The hosts outshot CU 17-8 overall and 7-5 on goal.
Brooke Ackley was credited with six saves for the Jackets.
Both sides finished the weekend at 1-0-1 on the young season.

- Each team attempted five corner kicks.
- The heat index was in the low 90's with Cedarville using 22 players in the match.
- Ackley totaled 16 saves in the two contests.
- The Flames lead the all-time series, 2-0-1, outscoring CU, 4-2.

- Carson-Newman and Ohio Dominican played to a 1-1 deadlock in the first game.
