HIGHLIGHTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - G-MAC newcomer Northwood scored twice three minutes apart in the second half and stifled the Lady Jackets with a 2-0 result.
The Timberwolves found the net in the 59th and 62nd minutes to put Cedarville in a hole in which it couldn't recover.
The hosts outshot NU in each half amounting to 17-12 overall and 7-4 on goal.

Olivia Hoffman was drilled off the post in the second period that would have cut the deficit in half.
It was the first setback in the conference for the Jackets, 3-2-1 overall and 2-1 G-MAC.
Stinger Notes:
- Goalkeeper Brooke Ackley was credited with two saves.
- CU is 2-2 on the six-game homestand with defending G-MAC champion Ashland looming on Saturday.
- The Timberwolves were playing their fifth straight road game to open the season.
- Northwood leads the all-time series, 2-0.
