Eagles fly over CU in three

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Ashland remained unbeaten in the G-MAC South Division with a sweep of the Lady Jackets at the Callan Athletic Center.

The Eagles improved to 10-5 overall and 6-0 G-MAC with a 25-15, 26-24, 25-15 victory.

Cassi Shields pounded 13 kills for Cedarville, 5-8 and 3-3 G-MAC.

Hannah Willow contributed seven kills with three blocks and Haley Koch added three blocks.

Kaley Matney set up 31 assists and Mallory Delamarter had nine digs.

Stinger Notes:
  • There were 16 tie scores and only one lead change the entire match.
  • Six different Lady Jackets recorded blocks.
  • Freshmen Cam Davenport and Janae Heegaard did not play.
  • Ashland leads the all-time series, 10-2.
