CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets pounded home four goals in the second half and blanked Daemen, 4-0, in a non-conference contest.
Aleah Martone's 30-yarder just eluded the leap of the Wildcat goalkeeper in the 49th minute to get the scoring started.
Olivia Hoffman (65th minute) and
Molly McNeill (66th) tallied 70 seconds apart while
Maddy Nelson capped off the offense in the 85th.
Hoffman,
Payton Fraley, and
Tiffany Campbell registered one assist each.
Brooke Ackley came up with two saves in goal for Cedarville, 5-2-1 overall.
Stinger Notes:
- CU outshot Daemen 27-9 overall and 14-2 on goal.
- It's the second time the Jackets have had a four-goal second half (Walsh).
- Hoffman has scored in back-to-back games.
- The clean sheet was Ackley's 12th of her career.
- Cedarville posted a 4-2 record during the six-game homestand.
- The two schools were former members of the NAIA American Mideast Conference.
- The Lady Jackets hold a 5-0-1 edge in the all-time series.
