PAINESVILLE, Ohio -
Olivia Hoffman's goal and Cedarville's defense resulted in a 1-0 G-MAC victory at Lake Erie.
The Lady Jackets, 6-2-1 overall and 4-1 G-MAC, won for the third straight time.
Hoffman tracked down a long ball in the 75th minute, dribbled 30 yards, and tucked it inside the far post for her fourth goal of the season.
Brooke Ackley made three saves and ended up with her third shutout.
CU registered shot margins of 12-4 overall and 9-3 on goal.
Stinger Notes:
- Cedarville attempted more corner kicks (7-1) and was called for more fouls (8-1).
- Hoffman has scored in three straight games and is the tenth player in school history to reach 20 career goals.
- Ackley's 13th career shutout places her fourth on CU's all-time list.
- It was the team's first road game in three weeks (Lee) and the first within the G-MAC.
- The Lady Jackets have won all seven meetings against Lake Erie.
