FINDLAY, Ohio -
Megan McClish headed home a corner kick in the 87th minute to give the Lady Jackets a 2-1 win at Findlay to keep Cedarville atop the G-MAC table.
Emily Walton's corner found McClish at the far post, who finished off her third goal of the season.
Aleah Martone got the scoring underway in the 56th minute by converting a penalty kick following a hand ball in the box.
The Oilers answered with the equalizer less than three minutes later.
Brooke Ackley finished with five saves for the Jackets, 7-2-1 overall and 5-1 G-MAC.
Stinger Notes:
- McClish has three goals this season - all headers off of corner kicks.
- Martone's goal was the 14th of her career.
- The Jackets outshot Findlay 19-11 overall including 15-5 in the second half.
- The visitors also had the advantage in shots on goal, 11-6.
- The Oilers still lead the all-time series, 5-3-1.
