HIGHLIGHTS

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Jayvon Maughmer's 22 points and career-high nine rebounds sparked the Yellow Jackets to a 72-65 victory over defending G-MAC champion Walsh at the Callan Athletic Center.

Grant Whisman added 19 points and Chris Rogers flipped in 18 for Cedarville, 13-4 overall and 6-3 G-MAC.

Jacob Drees hauled in a game-high ten rebounds to help upend the Cavaliers' five-game winning streak.

After the two sides battled to a 33-33 deadlock through 20 minutes, the Jackets held the lead for all but 13 seconds of the second half.

It was 56-47 with 11:15 remaining and Walsh got as close as 67-65 with 1:08 to go.

Maughmer went 4-for-4 from the stripe down the stretch to help seal the outcome.
