CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Kentucky Wesleyan made the most of a golden opportunity late in the second half and posted a 1-0 G-MAC win at Cedarville.
The Panthers tallied in the 77th minute and hung on for their first-ever win on the Yellow Jackets' turf.
The hosts responded with a strong charge in the waning moments and even banged a ball off the post from close range with 1:10 remaining.
Each team attempted seven shots with the Panthers having a 5-3 edge on goal.
Jabari Gray made three saves between the pipes and the back line cleared another shot off the line.
Cedarville embarks on a four-game road swing before finishing the regular season with back-to-back home contests.
