Alex Long slipped the ball to McBride on the right side, who lifted a ten-yarder with his left foot into the open net.
All three goals were scored in the final eight minutes in the wet conditions.
Michael Catanzarite surprised the TU defense with a looping 15-yard shot over the keeper in the 82nd minute.
The hosts equalized less than three minutes later setting the stage for McBride's heroics.
