CROSSOVER INFO
HAMMOND, Ind. - Northern Michigan and Illinois Springfield pinned defeats on Cedarville on the final day of the Midwest Region Crossover at the Hammond Sportsplex.
The Lady Jackets, 9-11 overall, have dropped four straight.
NMU took the first match in four sets, 25-22, 25-19, 24-26, 26-24.
Madelyn Hensley led three players in double figures with 17 kills along with
Janae Heegaard (12) and
Cam Davenport (10).
Kaley Matney had 39 assists with Davenport adding ten digs.
UIS rallied to claim the final contest, 22-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 15-12.
Hensley (17 kills), Davenport (16), and Heegaard (11) paced the attack. Matney totaled 47 assists and 15 digs.
