HIGHLIGHTS
CANTON, Ohio -
Katie Ulmer and
Maddy Nelson tallied the goals and
Maya Ryder assisted on both as Cedarville posted a 2-1 G-MAC win at Malone.
The Lady Jackets, 10-3-1 overall and 7-2-1 G-MAC, are unbeaten in their last four outings.
It took until the 75th minute for the visitors to break through.
Ryder delivered a corner kick that Ulmer headed in from six yards out for her second goal of the year.
Nelson added her fourth of the season in what proved to be a big insurance goal in the 86th.
Ryder beat two Pioneer defenders on the right sideline and fed a pass to a wide open Nelson at the top of the penalty box, who finished off a one-on-one with the keeper.
Cedarville actually dominated the stat sheet by outshooting the hosts, 13-1.
An unfortunate misplay in the back led to Malone's goal with just 16 seconds left to spoil the shutout.
