KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Yellow Jacket offense erupted after halftime to beat Quincy, 83-69, at the Midwest Region Crossover hosted by Truman State.
Jayvon Maughmer scored 21 points to lead four players in double figures for Cedarville, 2-1.
Ethan Sellars provided 14 points off the bench,
Chris Rogers tallied 13, and
Kyle Thomas chipped in 12.
Trailing by as many as 11 points in the first half and 37-32 at the intermission, the Jackets came alive after the break.
CU shot 58 percent from the field including six triples and converted 9-of-10 free throws.
Conversely, the Hawks hit just 30 percent of their shots after the break and missed all nine of their three-point attempts.
The Yellow Jackets buried 14 shots from beyond the arc and committed just seven turnovers.
