HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Division I Northern Kentucky outscored Cedarville, 80-55, in an exhibition contest at Truist Arena.
It was the last preseason tuneup for the Lady Jackets before opening the campaign next weekend at the GLVC / G-MAC Challenge in Quincy, Ill.
Lydia Sweeney totaled team highs of 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists for CU.
Nyla Hale netted nine points while
KaCee Kyle added eight points and four steals.
The Jackets forced NKU into 24 turnovers which produced a 24-11 margin in points off turnovers.
CU's only lead came on its first basket of the game - a three-pointer from
Kat Weakley.
The Norse made 10-of-15 shots in the first quarter to bolt to a 24-11 lead.
It was 42-25 at the intermission, but the visitors pulled it back to within 57-44 after three periods.
