UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State made a big move in the fourth quarter to put away the Lady Jackets, 68-36, in a non-conference contest.
KaCee Kyle totaled 12 points and six rebounds for Cedarville, 1-3.
Lydia Sweeney contributed 11 points, five steals, and two assists.
The host Cardinals held a 20-16 lead following a low scoring first half.
SVSU expanded the margin to 38-28 after three quarters and then outscored the visitors 30-8 in the final frame.
STINGER NOTES:
- The CU defense forced 24 turnovers - the fourth straight game the opponent has committed more than the Jackets.
- Kyle is averaging 18.0 ppg while shooting .769 from the line in the last three games.
- Three of the next four games are in the Callan Athletic Center.
- Cedarville leads the all-time series, 2-1.
