Jacob Drees' double-double topped a balanced attack in a 75-56 decision against Ohio Dominican at the Callan Athletic Center.
The fifth-year post player totaled 14 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks for the Yellow Jackets, 4-3 overall, in what was the G-MAC opener for both schools.
Jayvon Maughmer tallied 13 points with
Chris Rogers and
Anthony Ruffolo scoring 11 each.
CU, who entered the game ranked fourth nationally in triples made per game (12.0), hit five in the opening half for a 33-28 lead.
The hosts buried nine more during a 42-28 margin in the second period to pull away.
A 17-4 uprising turned a four-point lead into a 56-38 cushion with 9:30 left. The biggest bulge was 71-49 late in the contest.

- Rogers contributed eight rebounds and a team-high six assists.
- Ruffolo's 11 points is a career-high.
- The bench outscored ODU 25-3.
- Eight different players made a three-pointer.
- The 39 three-point attempts is a season-high while the 14 triples made ties for second.

- The Jackets lead the all-time series, 70-25.
