LAKELAND, Fla. - NABC Division II No. 9 Central Oklahoma rallied in the final seven minutes to defeat Cedarville, 82-75, in the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic.
The Bronchos turned around a 66-59 deficit with nine unanswered points and never trailed again.
UCO finished the contest with a 23-9 run to hold on to the victory.
Jayvon Maughmer totaled 22 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals for the Yellow Jackets, 1-1.
Grant Whisman netted 13 points while
Jacob Drees provided ten points, eight boards, and five assists.
Ethan Sellars came off the bench to add ten points. The reserves outscored the UCO bench, 21-16.
A slow start put Cedarville into a 12-2 hole, but the Jackets reversed course and eventually led by as much as 59-51 midway through the second half.
