CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets charged back in the second half, but fell short in a 65-55 G-MAC setback to Tiffin at the Callan Athletic Center.
Lydia Sweeney pumped in 23 points and
Makenna Fee provided a season-high 14 off the bench for Cedarville, 2-6 overall and 1-2 G-MAC.
The Dragons shot lights out in the first half in building a 40-19 cushion by the intermission.
The visitors were good on 65 percent of their field goals including 6-of-11 from beyond the arc in the first 20 minutes.
The Jackets went off on a 15-3 run in the fourth quarter to get within 53-49 with 3:58 remaining.
However, TU answered with seven consecutive points to regain command.

- Fee tallied her 14 points in 16-plus minutes of playing time.
- Sweeney has scored in double figures six straight times (19.7 ppg).
- Cedarville had a 29-25 rebounding edge featuring 11 offensive boards.
- The Jackets outscored Tiffin 36-25 in the second half.
- The home team was 10-for-16 (.625) from the floor in the fourth period.
- It was the only time the two schools will meet during the 2023-24 season.
