CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - Thomas More jumped on the Lady Jackets from the opening tip and never let up in a 80-50 result at the Connor Convocation Center.
Kat Weakley hit four three-pointers and totaled 14 points for Cedarville, 2-4 overall and 1-1 G-MAC.
KaCee Kyle provided 13 points off the bench and
Lydia Sweeney chipped in 12.
The Saints netted the first 13 points of the game and led 24-4 after the first period.
Thomas More outscored the Jackets 56-46 the rest of the way.
STINGER NOTES:
- Weakley is 15-for-15 from the line this season and has scored in double figures in five of the six games.
- This is Thomas More's first season in the G-MAC and NCAA Division II.
- Cedarville holds a 6-1 lead in the all-time series which began during the 1985-86 season.
- The two teams meet again at the Callan Athletic Center on February 1.
