CANTON, Ohio - Malone withstood a quick start by the Lady Jackets and methodically pulled away for a 84-68 G-MAC decision at Osborne Hall.
Paige Garr tallied 21 points for Cedarville, 7-15 overall and 5-11 G-MAC.
Lydia Sweeney and
Kat Weakley scored 13 points apiece and
Anne Wheeler added 10.
The visitors hit four three-pointers and shot 62 percent in the first quarter in breaking out to a 19-12 lead.
However, the Pioneers responded with a 20-2 run covering the remainder of the period and the opening four minutes of the second quarter to take the lead for good.
