BEREA, Ohio -
Faith Bergner pounded two home runs in the first game and
Arica Flaugher hit two in the second to spark Cedarville to two wins at Ursuline in the G-MAC opener.
The Lady Jackets won the first game, 9-0, and then rallied with three runs in their final at bat to claim the nightcap, 4-2.
Cedarville, 8-14 overall and 2-0 G-MAC, has won four straight.
Flaugher's second bomb leading off the seventh inning of game two knotted the score, 2-2. It was her third hit of the game.
Dana Bertke delivered a two-out RBI triple and Bergner followed with an RBI single.
Winning pitcher
Adaline Ziehmer, 2-3, struck out six and walked two.
In the opener,
Casey Bertke, 5-5, tossed a complete game five-hitter with four strikeouts.
Bergner went 3-for-3 with three RBI and four runs scored.
Mariah Wallace totaled three hits while Flaugher and
Dana Bertke added two hits each.
