CANTON, Ohio - A pair of three-run innings carried Malone to a 6-1 victory over Cedarville in a G-MAC contest played under the lights at Thurman Munson Stadium.
The Pioneers scored three times in the third inning on one hit, three hit batters, and two walks.
It remained a 3-0 deficit until the seventh inning when
Micah Stewart's RBI single brought
Kale Ebling home.
However, Malone answered with three runs in the bottom half of the frame to maintain command.
Blais Hale had two hits including a double.
Ebling and
Alan Perry added singles for the Yellow Jackets, 4-20 overall and 1-8 G-MAC.
