CANTON, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets bounced back at Thurman Munson Stadium to win both ends of a twinbill vs. Malone and split the four-game G-MAC series.
After being outscored by a combined 18-1 in the first two contests, Cedarville won by scores of 10-4 and 4-3.
In the opener,
Daniel Mick went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBI.
Lucas Rotello added two hits including a double, two runs, and two RBI.
Micah Stewart scored three times and had two hits while
Kale Ebling and
Daniel Sewak chipped in doubles.
Winning pitcher
Reid Hale, 2-2, allowed one hit with two strikeouts over the final 3 1/3 innings.
Ebling doubled, tripled, and drove in two runs in the nightcap for the Jackets, 6-21 overall and 3-9 G-MAC. Rotello and
Caden McKinion both doubled.
Nathaniel Adkins,
David Nairn, and
Wyatt Petek combined to strike out ten batters. Nairn, 1-3, had five K's himself and Petek locked down his first career save.
