CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Casey Bertke drove in three runs and
Adaline Ziehmer spun a five-hitter to lead Cedarville to a 4-1 win over Tiffin and a sweep of their G-MAC doubleheader.
The Lady Jackets pulled out a 4-3 victory in nine innings in the first game.
Bertke broke a 1-1 tie in game two with a sacrifice fly in the third inning and then provided some cushion with a two-run double in the fifth.
Dana Bertke had three hits, two runs scored, and a stolen base.
Ziehmer, 6-5, struck out four and did not walk a batter for Cedarville, 17-19 overall and 11-3 G-MAC.
In the opener, Tiffin scored a run in the top of the eighth inning, but
Lexi Parsons answered with an RBI single in the bottom half to tie it, 3-3.
Dana Bertke led off the ninth with a triple,
Faith Bergner was hit-by-pitch, and Bertke scored the winning run on a throwing error.
