Trojans clip Cedarville in G-MAC twinbill

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca held the Lady Jacket offense in check to sweep a G-MAC doubleheader.

The Trojans were 5-1 and 2-1 winners at the TNU Softball Complex.

Dana Bertke drove in Lexi Parsons with Cedarville's only run in the first game on a ground out.

Bertke tallied two hits including a triple and Mackenzie Russell doubled.

In the second contest, TNU pushed a run across in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 1-1 deadlock.

Parsons doubled and later scored the Jackets' run on a sacrifice fly by Sophia Hevel.

Arica Flaugher produced two hits for Cedarville, 17-23 overall and 11-7 G-MAC.
