OWENSBORO, Ky. -
Adaline Ziehmer fired a five-inning no hitter and cracked a two-run homer to lead Cedarville to a 11-0 win at Kentucky Wesleyan and a sweep of their G-MAC twinbill.
The junior righthander improved her record to 7-6 while striking out four. She totaled two hits, two runs scored, and four RBI.
It was the 11th no hitter in program history and Ziehmer is the eighth Lady Jacket pitcher to accomplish the feat.
Mariah Wallace contributed two hits, two runs, and two RBI while
Arica Flaugher chipped in two hits for CU, 19-23 overall and 13-7 G-MAC.
In the opener, winning pitcher
Casey Bertke, 10-10, spun a four-hitter and drove in three runs during the 9-0 victory.
Dana Bertke piled up three hits, three stolen bases, and four runs scored.
Faith Bergner and
Lexi Parsons tallied two hits apiece.
