COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Lady Jackets tallied a run in the seventh inning for a 2-1 win at G-MAC regular season champion Ohio Dominican to gain a split of their doubleheader.
The Panthers posted a come-from-behind 5-4 result in the opener.
Cedarville produced some two-out lightning in the second contest when
Mackenzie Russell laced a triple.
Dana Bertke followed with a single to plate the go ahead run.
Winning pitcher
Adaline Ziehmer, 8-6, spun a three-hitter and helped herself with an RBI single to bring in the first run of the game.
Bertke totaled a pair of hits and
Arica Flaugher doubled for the Lady Jackets, 20-24 overall and 14-8 G-MAC.
ODU recovered from a 4-1 deficit to claim the first game.
Flaugher,
Casey Bertke, and
Sophia Hevel recorded two hits apiece and
Kaley Clark added two RBI.
