OWENSBORO, Ky. - Cedarville and Kentucky Wesleyan finished off their four-game G-MAC series by splitting a twinbill at Panther Park.
The Yellow Jackets scored twice in their final at bat to win the seven-inning first game, 4-2.
The hosts rolled to a 10-0 result in the second contest which was halted in the seventh inning by the ten-run mercy rule.
Daniel Sewak scored on a wild pitch to break a 2-2 deadlock in the opener.
Kale Ebling followed with an RBI fielders choice to plate
Lucas Rotello.
Starting pitcher
Tanner Gillis struck out six in five innings.
Reid Hale, 3-2, got the win in relief striking out three in two hitless innings.
CU totaled six hits with Ebling and Rotello both recording doubles.
In game two, KWC scored four runs in the second inning and six more in the sixth.
Sewak had two of the five hits for the Yellow Jackets, 11-30 overall and 6-18 G-MAC.
