FINDLAY, Ohio - The No. 4 seed Lady Jackets committed a season-high eight errors allowing No. 5 Findlay to come away with a 5-1 result in the first round of the G-MAC Softball Championship.
Cedarville faces No. 1 seed and two-time defending champion Ohio Dominican on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. EDT in an elimination game.
The Panthers were upset, 5-2, by No. 8 seed Tiffin on a blustery day at Marathon Diamonds with wind chills in the low 40's due to 20-25 mph winds.
The Jackets committed three errors in the first inning leading to a unearned run and a couple more miscues made it 2-0 in the third.

Lexi Parsons had two hits including a double. Cedarville outhit the Oilers, 6-5.
Casey Bertke, 11-11, struck out two and allowed one earned run in tossing her 18th complete game of the season.
