OWENSBORO, Ky. - Seven different players scored goals as Cedarville overwhelmed host Kentucky Wesleyan, 7-0, in a G-MAC women's soccer contest.
Maddy Nelson tallied in the tenth minute and then set up
Payton Fraley for a 2-0 lead just 60 seconds later.
Megan McClish finished off her fourth goal of the campaign from
Emily Walton and
Tiffany Campbell converted a PK to inflate the margin to 4-0 by halftime.
Maya Ryder,
Lisi Williamson, and
Taylor Meadows completed the scoring in the second period.
Walton tacked on her second assist and
Addie Erslan added another for the Lady Jackets, 7-2 overall and 4-1 G-MAC.
Brooke Ackley logged the first 45 minutes in goal without facing a shot while
Kaelan Swallow made three saves in the second half.
CU has posted three consecutive shutouts and has six total on the season.
