Madelyn Hensley rose to the occasion to lead the Lady Jackets to a pair of victories at the Findlay Classic.
The 6-foot-3 outside hitter pounded a career-high 24 kills in a morning sweep of Saginaw Valley State and then came back with 22 more in a five-set marathon against Bloomsburg.
Cedarville, who was without two starters for the day, claimed the opener over SVSU, 27-25, 25-20, 25-21.
Greta Blakemore added ten kills,
Haley Goff stepped in with 37 assists, and
Talia Felton came up with 18 digs.
The Jackets, 4-2 overall, recovered to outlast Bloomsburg, 19-25, 25-18, 25-21, 16-25, 15-12.
Blakemore (13) and
Janae Heegaard (10) joined Hensley in double figures for kills.
Goff piled up 50 assists, Felton had 21 digs, and
Cassi Shields turned aside four blocks to go along with five service aces.
