CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Lydia Sweeney matched her career high with 33 points to lead Cedarville to a 69-60 G-MAC result against Lake Erie at the Callan Athletic Center.
The senior guard added eight rebounds, a career-high seven assists, and three steals.
KaCee Kyle chipped in 11 points and five assists for the Lady Jackets, who improved to 5-8 overall and 3-3 G-MAC.
Cedarville raced out to a 20-6 margin in the first quarter, but the Storm reeled the hosts back to get within 33-30 by halftime.
It was a 39-39 deadlock midway through the third period when the Jackets took the lead for good thanks to a 10-2 run.
Lake Erie closed the gap to 62-58 at the 1:17 mark. Sweeney gave CU some breathing room by hitting a jumper with 44 seconds to go as the shot clock expired.

- Leah Butterbaugh contributed a season-high five assists.
- Freshman Nyla Hale produced seven points and seven rebounds.
- In the last seven games, Sweeney is averaging 24.3 ppg while shooting .587 from the field and .771 at the line.
- It's the only regular season meeting between the two schools.
