Cedarville gets by Ursuline to extend winning streak

PEPPER PIKE, Ohio - Audrey Nelson scored in the 81st minute and the Lady Jackets prevailed for a 1-0 G-MAC victory at Ursuline.

Cedarville, 9-4-2 overall and 8-2-1 G-MAC, has won five straight.

It was the third 1-0 result for the Jackets in the last five matches, who have relinquished just one goal in that span.

Nelson got loose on a breakaway and tucked in her first goal of the season on a rebound off the keeper.

The visitors outshot the Arrows 20-7 overall and 13-4 on goal.

Goalkeeper Brooke Ackley made four saves in posting her third straight clean sheet and fourth overall.
