Lake Erie surprises G-MAC South leaders at Callan

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Lake Erie went the distance to upset Cedarville in five sets in a G-MAC match at the Callan Athletic Center.

The Storm, 9-19 overall and 6-9 G-MAC, claimed the result 13-25, 25-18, 13-25, 25-17, 15-12.

Madelyn Hensley registered her third 20-plus kill performance of the season with 21.

Greta Blakemore added 11 kills for Cedarville, 12-10 and 8-5 G-MAC.

Janae Heegaard pounded eight kills and turned aside seven blocks.

Kaley Matney piled up 52 assists and freshman libero Alivia Rutt paced the back line with 17 digs.
