COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Dominican scored in the 81st minute and stunned Cedarville, 1-0, in the regular season finale.
The outcome ended the Lady Jackets' five-game winning streak by being the first opponent to tally against the CU defense in 560 minutes.
A win would have propelled Cedarville to the No. 2 seed and a first round bye in the upcoming G-MAC Women's Soccer Championship.
The setback dropped the Jackets to No. 4 and they host No. 5 Walsh in a quarterfinal on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
The visitors outshot ODU 12-4 overall and 6-3 on goal. The shot differential was 7-2 in the second half.
Cedarville finishes the regular season at 10-5-3 overall and 9-3-2 G-MAC.
