CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Jaylen Davis fired in 24 points and Cedarville had to grind out a 62-54 G-MAC win over Northwood.

The Yellow Jackets, 7-2 overall and 2-1 G-MAC, have won all five games at the Callan Athletic Center.

Davis, who is averaging 25.4 ppg in his last five outings, added eight rebounds, five assists, and a steal to his performance.

Freshman Sam Johnson tallied 13 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double in the last three games.

Kyle Thomas chipped in 12 points.

Defense was the name of the game with Cedarville forging a 29-28 lead by halftime.

Thomas polished off a seven-point run with a layup for a 50-38 bulge with 8:47 left.

The visitors got no closer than four points the rest of the way.
