CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Brooke Ackley and
Sophie Browndyke have been selected to the 2024 NCCAA Women's Soccer All-America First Team.
Ackley, a graduate student goalkeeper from Worthington, Ohio, earned a spot on the first team for the fourth consecutive year. She was the 2022 NCCAA National Player of the Year.
Ackley started all 20 games this season with a 1.00 goals against average and six shutouts.
She graduates with school records of 50 victories and a 0.84 GAA and is tied for first in shutouts with 27.
Browndyke, a junior defender from West Harrison, Indiana, guided the Lady Jacket defense upon starting all 20 games on the back line.
She was voted the NCCAA Midwest Region Player of the Year.
Addie Erslan, a senior forward from Chillicothe, Ohio, as well as
Megan McClish, a senior midfielder from West Jefferson, Ohio, were also chosen to the Midwest Region Team.
Jonathan Meade was voted the NCCAA Midwest Region Coach of the Year after leading Cedarville to a 11-6-3 record.
Ten players are NCCAA Scholar-Athletes which includes juniors, seniors, and graduate students, who possess a minimum 3.40 cumulative grade point average.
