CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville welcomes Ferris State and Grand Valley State in a pair of key Midwest Region battles to begin the 2025 schedule.
 
Ferris State comes to campus on Thursday with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. EDT. The GVSU contest is set for Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
 
Both games will be carried live on FloCollege along with Live Stats.
 
It's the second straight season for the Jackets to begin the campaign against Ferris. The two sides played to a 2-2 draw last fall with the Bulldogs leading the all-time series, 2-0-1.
 
FSU is picked to finish third in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
 
Seven-time Division II national champion Grand Valley State is the choice to win the GLIAC this year.
 
The Lakers, who have claimed all of those NCAA titles since the 2009 season, are ranked No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches Division II preseason poll.
 
GVSU has won all four previous meetings against Cedarville including a 1-0 result on its home turf in 2024.
 
The two games begin a four-game non-league swing through the GLIAC. The Jackets travel to the Upper Peninsula to face Michigan Tech on Sept. 11 and Northern Michigan on Sept. 13.
 
The G-MAC opener is on Sept. 18 at home against Findlay.
